River Arts Relief Auction

In response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene on the River Arts District in Asheville, NC, local artists and community members are coming together for the River Arts Relief Auction. Artists from our community are donating artwork and helping to raise funds for our neighbors in Asheville.

The auction will take place at Fischman Gallery, 133 N. Commerce St., in downtown Johnson City, TN, on October 10th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a wide array of artwork generously donated by artists. The proceeds will go directly to relief efforts supporting those who have lost their studios, homes, and workspaces in the River Arts District.

How Artists Can Help:

Artists can participate by donating a piece of artwork for the silent auction. You have two options:

  1. Donate Your Artwork & Full Proceeds: You can choose to donate your artwork, with all proceeds from its sale going directly to the relief fund. Your generosity will provide vital support to those in need.
  2. Set a Base Price: If you prefer, you can set a base price for your work, ensuring you receive compensation for your piece. Any additional funds raised beyond your set price will be donated to the relief effort.
