It was moving, haunting, and left me feeling sick. It was a lasting sickness. So I felt led to document it, emotionally, with paint. The image I painted is graphic, and disturbing—much like the daily horror stories as told by Aziz Rahman that he witnessed first hand. It’s sick how people are so capable of such cruelty and evil. Yes, the bombs have both the American flag and the Israeli flag on them, because let us NOT FORGET who manufactured them, and who dropped them. Painting this took a piece out of me. We must all stand together in this time of darkness, and forbid atrocities such as this happening ever again. It is not needed in today’s world. We can be so much better, unified against evil.
