Nowadays, it can feel as if society is too quick to measure people by the color of their skin, the labels placed on them, or the groups others assume they belong to. But a person’s true worth is not found in appearance or identity categories; it is revealed through character, talent, faith, integrity, and the way they treat others. If we want a stronger and more honest society, we must learn to look deeper than the surface and value people for who they are, what they contribute, and the principles that guide their lives. This may be unpopular to say in these circles, but true. Skin color is only skin deep.
